Hello everyone!
It's been awhile since I've made a tutorial so I decided to make one today. I'm going to teach you how to make this pretty pair:
First off, here are the materials you will need:
gold wire, earring hook, headpin, round bead, flower coin, 6 small pearls, bead cap, small drop
for tools: I use needle nose pliers and wire cutters
* All of these can be replaced with something else--gold for silver, round bead for a faceted one, any sizes etc. The pearls can be 4mm bicones. You don't even need wire, you can use headpins for everything.
one
cut a strip of wire
two
On my pliers there is the space where there are two flat surfaces. They meet every time I squeeze the handle. I use that section to flatten the ends of wires so that I can slip a bead on and it won't fall off.
Just like this !
three
Slip on a pearl bead and finish the loop.
four
Repeat with the other 5 small beads. You can use the same strip of wire.
Set them aside.
five
Now take that same piece of wire. Make a loop.
six
Slip on your round bead.
Then your bead cap.
seven
Slip on your pearls and make sure to spread them out.
eight
Finally, slip on your rose coin.
Make a loop at the end. You can either make a standard loop, or you can make a wrapped look which goes like this:
Snip off your extra.
Doesn't look quite finished, right?
We need to add on the drop! Same concept.
nine
Hook it to the bottom and close the loop.
tada !
ten
Now hang it off your hooks:
Perfect! Now you're finished!
