instagram update

I finally addressed the horror that is my unorganized stud collection.

I have a frame my sister made for me years ago when I was in middle school. She got the idea off a jewelry store in Koreatown, NYC.

She used: an old frame, cork board and wire. I see variations of this theme everywhere (:

It used to have three rows of wire but I took the top two off.

My flower collection has been whittled down to these colors: the rest were given as gifts to friends. They're arranged by color, ombre style.

For the rest of the metal studs, I didn't like the look of them just being stuck on the cork. I cut a heart out of water color and just stuck it on, haha. The other pairs pairs are pierced against strips of lace. On the wire I hung some of my cuff earrings/hoops.

I made the white box out of water color paper (really crudely) and then used star brads to stick it to the cork. Inside the box are cuffs, earrings backs and double-pierced studs.

I bought these plastic gold charms from the button section at Jo-Ann fabrics. I love the starfish.

Some of the bazillion pairs of earrings I have made that I haven't gotten around to photographing.
